Active Support: 25+ year olds

Scout Active Support allows people to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis. People can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader.

Scouting offers young people with tremdendous opportunities, but it is only made possible by our adult volunteers - and of course it is incredibly rewarding. Volunteers don't need any specific skills or experience, we work in teams help develop each other, share skills and provide support - likewise full training is provided.

Adults can get involved at all levels, from helping to run an activity, joining the leadership team for a specific event, joining one of the executive committees, helping to maintain a building, or even joining the district management team. There really is something to suit everyone.

Volunteers don't need any specific skills or experience, we work in teams to help develop each other and our award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.
